On Earth (page 109), some places have room temperature outdoors all year. Did humanity originate in such a place? Even in the warmest part of Mars during summer, at 40–50°S, nights at −71 °C are barely warmer than Earth’s lowest measured Antarctic temperature of −89 °C.
