We present crater properties using several criteria. Which property can you recognise in which crater? Write its identifying letter.
Crater floors may contain sediments, deposits, structures and their remnants: a bowl-shaped depression and slopes in a simple crater, a flat floor, crater-filling sediment or a central peak. A crater’s outline forms during the impact and depends on the impact angle and fractures in the target rock.
