Planetary Cartography Working Group
The Planetary Cartography Working Group at the Cosmic Materials Space Reserarch Group of Eötvös Loránd UniversityWe are creating, editing, publishing paper and digital planetary maps. Our main project is to publish and update the Multilingual Series of Terrestrial Planets and their Moons together with ICA Commission on Planetary Cartography. In this series we publish (and constantly update) maps in English and Central European languages. We publish maps for "official" use in High Schools in Hungary. We also publish textbooks related to planetary science and we are working on the Hungarian nomenclature of planetary surface features. Our planetary maps appear from daily newspapers to scientific publications in Hungary.
